The perfect shot screen for your favorite Flair 58 or 58x brew head, the Flair 58 Puck screen is a 58.5mm filter screen placed on top of the bed of coffee prior to brewing an espresso and works by softening and evening out the flow of water to the coffee bed in your Flair 58 machine. This prevents channeling and ensures a more even and balanced extraction.
It further reduces the need for cleaning of the Flair 58 brew head due to less coffee material entering into the brew head when you release the lever. The 58 puck screen is a necessity for any barista who is looking to ensure that their shots remain smooth and free from channeling, whilst speeding up workflow and keeping the brew head clean.

- Note: Given the thermal mass of the screen, it is recommended that it is placed in the portafilter and locked in just before turning on the preheat controller.
Please note in using a puck screen, it will take up some volume inside the Filter basket, limiting the amount of ground coffee that can be used by about +\- 1g.
